The INSpect GS INS products deliver low-cost, accurate navigation with substantially less size, weight, and power requirements than traditional products. Using GREENSEA’s patent-pending OPENSEA™ software engine, the INSpect GS products fuse and filter data from available navigation aiding sensors to produce an accurate and stable navigation estimate that minimizes noise, bias and variable IMU update rates. Vehicles receive optimized data for position, heading, altitude, depth, pitch and roll to support advanced vehicle control.

World's Smallest Fiber Optic Gyro (FOG)

The INSpect GS4 and GS5 utilize the world’s smallest FOG but don’t let its size fool you. This high-accuracy FOG delivers extremely low noise and high bandwidth. Angle random walk is minimal and it has bias stability previously only available in closed-loop FOG and ring laser gyros.

GREENSEA INSpect GS4 Fiber Optic Gyro Inertial Navigation System

The Greensea INSpect GS4 FOG INS is an easy to install, fully-integrated system that provides a robust and accurate navigation and attitude solution. Based on the OPENSEA software engine, the INSpect GS4 comes preconfigured to use multiple aiding sensors, like DVL, USBL, LBL, GPS, turns counter, odometer, altimeter, and alternate orientation sensors. The embedded Extended Kalman Filter engine fuses the data from all available aiding sensors with the high-rate inertial core to produce an accurate and stable system state estimate.

GREENSEA INSpect GS5 FOG INS WITH INTEGRATED DVL

Increase the accuracy of the INSpect INS with an integrated Doppler Velocity Log (DVL). In many practical situations, position measurements will be unavailable for extended periods of time. Measurements of the vehicle's velocity from the DVL help the INS come up with the best state estimate possible, even in poor visibility. 

And because we integrate the DVL directly into the INSpect GS5, it's one less sensor to worry about mounting — the alignment is perfect when we build the bottle and will stay perfect after it's shipped. It's a single, portable unit for the best control-ready subsea navigation possible.

TRITECH MICRON INS

The Micron INS with OPENSEA inertial technology, was designed as a truly plug-and-play INS solution. It is supplied in a single subsea bottle equipped with integrated core inertial sensors, attitude sensor, and a depth sensor. The system has a mounting bracket available and this, along with additional software configuration utilities, makes vehicle integration easy, accurate and reliable. The Micron INS calculates heading, position, attitude, velocity and depth using high rate data from an advanced miniature core MEMS Inertial Measurement Unit aided by an integrated high accuracy pressure sensor and triaxial set of magnetometers.

The Micron INS also supports integration with USBL, DVL, altimeter and GPS units for increased accuracy.
